Naturopathic Doctors are Massachusetts’ experts in Natural Medicine, Disease prevention, and Wellness

The Massachusetts Society of Naturopathic Doctors (MSND) is the professional organization of Naturopathic Doctors in the Commonwealth. We were founded in 1980 with the goal of educating the public about the services offered by NDs and to make Naturopathic Medicine accessible to all in our community.

Naturopathic Doctors (ND) obtain their medical degrees at accredited graduate-level, four-year medical schools and must pass national board exams. Although Naturopathic Medicine is not currently licensed in MA, 18 states and U.S. territories including others in New England license NDs.

The members of MSND are working diligently for successful licensure in MA.

Our Mission Statement: Our mission is to promote the success of Naturopathic Doctors and the naturopathic profession in Massachusetts through education, public awareness, advocacy, and community.
