WELCOME to the Massachusetts Society of Naturopathic Doctors (MSND) website.  As providers of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) we are excited to be part of a growing trend, both here in Massachusetts and across the nation.  

The MSND is a non-profit group dedicated to providing education and access to Naturopathic Medicine to the citizens of Massachusetts.  Here you will find information regarding Naturopathic Medicine:  what it is, where to find a practitioner, how to support the licensing effort.  We hope you will find this information useful as you navigate your way through your health care choices. 

At the present time, Massachusetts does not have a licensing law for Naturopathic Doctors (NDs).  The MSND is actively lobbying the State House for licensure.  There are currently 13 states that require licensure of NDs, including our neighbors in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Connecticut.  If you would like to learn more about the current status of our legislation and how you can support our efforts in becoming the 14th licensed state, click on the legislative link.
