Dr. Layton was training in functional medicine during her residency in 2006 and has used it in her practice since then to help patients better understand their health and apply integrative therapies effectively. Dr. Layton guides patients who have early signs of dementia through the Bredesen Protocol. She was trained at the Benson Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Mass General in their SMART (Stress Management and Resiliency Training) program in 2018. She blends these evidence-based, naturopathic modalities to manage women’s health and chronic conditions for all ages.
